What is Idea Never Gone Live?
Idea Never Gone Live is a community for sharing ideas you thought of but never built. You can read other people's ideas, share your own, and talk about what might have been.
Do I need an account to use the site?
You can browse public ideas without signing in. To post an idea or reply to someone, you need to sign in.
What kinds of ideas can I share?
Share an idea you never brought to life, whether it is an app, a business, a game, a product, or something else. Describe it in your own words so other people can understand what you imagined.
Will my idea appear publicly right away?
Not always. New ideas may be held privately for review before they appear on the public site. You can check the status of your submission on your profile.
Can I add a picture to my idea?
Yes. You can attach a supported image or GIF when posting an idea. An image attached to an idea awaiting review is not public.
What can other people do with an idea?
Visitors can explore public ideas. Signed-in members can join the conversation, react, and say when they have had a similar idea.
What if my idea is rejected?
A rejected idea stays off the public site. You can see its status on your profile and request another review once.
What content is not allowed?
Explicit sexual imagery, promotion of violent extremism, and targeted abuse are not allowed. Ordinary political discussion and disagreement are allowed. Content that needs a closer look may be sent to a human reviewer.
Does posting an idea mean someone will build it?
No. This is a place to share and discuss ideas, not a promise that an idea will be developed, funded, or sold.
